Refills
Every Carbon Candle vessel is made to be kept. When the wax runs out, bring it back to our Minneapolis studio and we'll refill it with fresh coconut soy wax and a new cotton wick, in any fragrance we're currently pouring. $19 per refill.
How it works
- Order your refill. Choose your fragrance on the Candle Refill page and check out.
- Clean your vessel. It needs to be completely clean — clean enough to drink out of. No wax, no wick tab, no residue. Our guide on how to clean out a candle jar walks you through it in about ten minutes.
- Drop it off. Bring it to our studio in the Q.arma Building, 1224 Quincy St NE, Studio 15A, Minneapolis. The studio is appointment only, so get in touch to set a time.
- Pick it up. Your refilled candle is ready in one week.
Questions
Does my vessel really need to be fully cleaned?
Yes. We can only refill vessels that arrive completely clean. Leftover wax, soot, or a stuck wick tab affects how the new candle sets and burns. Here's the easiest way to do it.
Can you refill other brands' jars?
No, refills are for Carbon Candle vessels only. We know how our vessels hold heat and how our wicks burn in them, which is what makes the refill safe.
Can I mail my vessel in?
Not at this time. Refills are drop-off and pickup at the studio.

How long does it take?
